We at API® are kicking off the new year with so many exciting events and updates that we want to share with you! 2019 is not only a fresh start for each of us individually, but also an opportunity for us to grow as a business as we interact with our consumers and others who are as passionate about fish care as we are.
For starters, if you don’t currently follow us on social media, you should! Recently, we’ve been hosting monthly Facebook LIVE events, where one of our experts in the hobby, Gary Jones, leads all of us in a quick and fun informational session about any number of topics pertaining to fish care, from setting up an aquarium, to choosing fish, to treating and testing water, and more! These events are filmed in a variety of locations, including local specialty pet shops and consumer clubs and shows. We’ve also begun hosting live Q&A sessions on our Facebook page, so you’ll be able to ask all of your fish-related questions to experts in the field. API® is more than just a brand name – we’re fish keepers, just like you, and we look forward to our Q&A sessions as opportunities to help you succeed and make the most out of the hobby. Don’t miss these live events – join us on our “field trips,” and check our Facebook routinely for updates and new sessions!
Also – and this is top-secret stuff, so not much can be said right now, but – be on the lookout for some new API® products hitting shelves in 2019! We’ve taken the last year as an opportunity to learn what our consumers want, as well as what would benefit our fellow fish keepers most, so you can expect one-of-a-kind products that will be great additions to the trusted API® brand.
Lastly, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention our office's Ugly Sweater Holiday party! Our associates donned their most jingly, flashy, colorful attire, and we all took some time to just enjoy each other's company and share a meal together in celebration of the holiday season. We hope you had some time with your family and friends to do the same!
